How we’re paid

Affiliate disclosure

The 16-25 Railcard Guide is free to use. Right now none of our links earn us anything.

Today

Every link on this site — to the official railcard site, to TfL and GOV.UK, and to retailers such as Trainline, TrainPal and train companies — is a plain link. We don’t receive any money for them, and the official railcard site doesn’t run an affiliate programme that we know of.

If that changes

We may in future join an affiliate programme run by a ticket retailer that sells railcards. If we do, links that can earn us a commission will be marked as sponsored in the page code, this page will say which retailers they are, and buying through them will never cost you more.

What affiliate links will never change

They’ll never change what our guides say, which card we suggest for you, or the fact that we always point you to the official 16-25 Railcard site as the place to buy. We don’t accept payment to include, exclude or rank anything.
